Konstantinos Maliatsos received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece (NTUA) in 2003. In September 2002 he joined the Mobile Radio-Communications Laboratory of NTUA working as a research assistant in various industry and research oriented projects. Since 2005 he is a PhD student working on Software Defined Radio – Cognitive Radio and Adaptive Wireless Transceivers. His research interests include Software Radio, Cognitive Radio and Dynamic Spectrum Access, Multicarrier Modulations, Filter Bank theory, Synchronization for broadband wireless, Channel Modeling and Detection theory. He has worked in European Projects (ACE, SatNex) and he is actively participating in the COST 2100 action “Pervasive Mobile & Ambient Wireless Communications”.
